But no! I gained .2 AGAIN!!!! Did the hold back the tears thing after weigh in. Am back to the Doctor on Monday and yes he is going to hear of my complaint!!!!!!!!

.2 loss - 25.3.6 Not enough

Well at least it's going in the right direction. I feel the loss could have been a little more, as I weighed in two hours later during the day and had had 600 ml of water at the gym beforehand. Aren't us weight watchers funny people, we have a reason or excuse for everything. But I also have to remind myself that it was my birthday week and I did go out for Thai on Friday night, I did overdo the alcohol and I did have bites of birthday cake and cheesecake. I only got serious about tracking on Monday.
I have started tracking each day on ETools and sticking to it, I'm going to the gym four to five times a week - so I am expecting a bigger loss next week :-)
Enough of putting in the exercise and sabotaging my points - It's time to get focused again.

.3 loss - 16.3.6

I've lost .3 - second loss in two weeks - Yahoooooo! It's only small, but it all counts. I kind of sabataged myself last night for my birthday - we had burgers, champers and wine. I'll keep plodding along at the gym and doing my points - I will get there. .7 to lose to get back my January weight.

Found a new way to spend money

I finally did it - I visited Peppertown (Virginia Brisbane) last week to look at the beading section - WOW!!!! Booked and did a course yesterday (only $10 plus cost of beads) to make beaded jewellery - it was so easy. If you've ever wondered - go and do it! You'll love it. The tools (x 2) will cost $20 to set up plus cost of beads, I can't wait to go back and make some more - can never have enough jewellery.

Oops - A little more shopping

Made the trip over to the other side of Brissy today and YES the shoes fitted, just had to have them to go with the new chocolate pants. Made a huge mistake though - I took number one son (12) to buy a new hat. Apparently he knows how to shop as well as I do, the hat came along with a new belt and necklace. Then because Surf Vision was closing down and had 40% off we popped in there. Hmmm! The $100 jeans turned out to be $150 down to $90, we bought them, along with about four shirts. It's going to take me until Christmas to pay off this weekend, but everyone looks great in their new clothes.
Have been to the gym each morning this week and with all the walking around shops - if I don't loose something on Thursday - there will be hell to pay.

Am trying to add this 'old' photo to my profile, so please don't say that I look like I'm doing well.

Shopping, Shopping and Shopping

What's worse than going on a shopping blitz and spending too much money - taking your daughter and spending double.
It all started with a top layby, the next day I laybyed some pants to go with the top. Today I decided that now I need the shoes complete the outfit, that's a drive to the other side of Brisbane tomorrow, as they have the only brown size 10 in the style that I WANT AND HAVE TO HAVE. Bought a funky new bag from the kids, and a food processor from hubby for my birthday. Then there were the size 11 brown boots that I had to buy because winter is coming and I ABSOLUTELY NEED them.
Daughter needs new jeans, and they couldn't be any jeans. No we walked the whole of Westfield and arrived back at the first ones at the surf shop - double money of course. New shoes, new top, new pjs - now I have laybys all over town.
Ahhhhh!! Don't you just love that shopping high. Except I walked too far and now my ankles are screaming at me to get in the spa and relax.

.6 loss 9.3.6 The Drought Is Over!!!!!

The gym seems to be paying off a little. I weighed in today and lost .6 yeh for me. Still need to lose that one kilo that I put on back in January. Considering 2006 was going to be my year, it's a slow start. Persistance andPerserverance - I will get there!!!!
Am starting to fit back into my size 18 Rockmans jeans that I wore some five six years ago. This winter I may actually get into my pink outfit that I bought a very long time ago. It's probably gone out of fashion now - but who cares - if I can wear it, I will have achieved something.

.1 gain - 2.3.6 Stomps feet and pouts

I've gained 1kg, .2 lost .2, gained .5 and today I've gained .1 again.
Reasons:
* New gym membership.
* New little white pills.
* A couple of biscuits I didn't think would matter and the hot chips for dinner when I was too tired to be bothered.
What I'm gunna do about it:
* Continue guzzling water.
* Continue tracking.
* Continue exercising.
* Cut out alcohol this week.
* Tell myself its only a phase that will pass with persistance.

.5 gain - my weight is going in the wrong direction :-(

Oops! .5 gain again!!!
But - I'm okay with this, because of my tiredness, I've switched back to points again, I've changed my exercise patterns and I don't feel any heavier.
So my goal for this week is to keep within my points, continue exercising and look forward to a loss next Thursday!!!

16.2.6 - Feeling a little better

I've been on medication for 'stress' for eleven days now and thankfully I'm starting to feel better. Not completely, but I'm getting there. I start at Fernwoods gym tomorrow and am really looking forward to using the weights, they seem so user friendly. Lost .2 today, now all I need to do is lose the kilo that I put on a few weeks ago and I'm back on track.

9.2.6 - Another gain of 200 grams

Oh dear! Another gain of 200 grams. Am still so very tired and have started taking new tablets that don't seem to be helping. Will have to coax my body back into walking and am thinking seriously of joining a gym, but I'm not sure if I will get the use out of it.

2.2.6 - Gained 1 whole kilo!

Whoops! Have been extremely tired since Christmas and it's starting to creep into my weight loss. I didn't weigh in for two weeks and had a 1 kg gain to show for it, but I'm not too worried because I know the reasons for my gain and my journey is a bit two steps forward one step back. I just know that I will get there in the end.
Had my first "You've lost weight" reaction on Saturday night from a lady that I don't see very often - it felt so good, I walked away with a huge smile.

Totally Awesom Day - 11.1.6

What a totally awesom day I've had. First of all I want to say thank you to Jan and Des for being a part of that.
On the 1.7.5 I started an Alcohol Sabatical on the weight wathcers forum and among the people who came to the challenge were these two wonderful ladies. Cruiky (on the left) and Des (on the right) (I'm in the middle).
Des currently lives in Scotland and we always intended that if ever she came out we would all meet up. Well Des has been out visiting her family over Christmas, and today was that day.
We met up at DFO, had coffee and chatted away like we had all known each other for years.
Thank you so much Jan and Des for an wonderful day and restoring my faith that there are nice people out there.

5.1.6 - Lost 400 grams

I walked and walked until I ached this week and all I got to show for it was a 400 gram loss - that didn't even bring me back to pre Xmas weight!!! Intuition tells me that I'm retaining fluid from TTOM - but that's a small consolation for the effort that I put in when I could have been sleeping in.
I will perservere and see the results next week - 900 grams to reach a 10 kg loss!!!

Feeling Pretty Low on Boxing Day

This Boxing Day I have to wonder if it's all really worth it? The baking, the presents, the running around - all while fitting in everyday life. I've woken up this morning feeling pretty low. I don't seem to do anything right with my 13 yr old daughter, my husband had a bad reaction this morning when I suggested that he might want to wash his own muddy clothes after playing basketball at 1.00 a.m. this morning with the kids (he was pretty smashed at 1.00 a.m.). I haven't offended my 12 yr old son yet. I'm tired of being told that I'm wrong and that the problems are with me. I'm totally exhausted after putting Xmas together for everyone and having bad sleep for the last three nights. At this point I just want to be on my own and not talk to anyone - it's a lot easier.
